I wanted to point your attention to a new blog in the blogroll: College Student Hacks. It’s a collaborative blog in the tradition of GTD/lifehack sites like 43Folders and lifehack.org, only aimed at the kind of personal productivity and time/life management issues unique to college students (well, if not unique, then certainly college students have cornered the market on them). Recent posts include this good mini-guide to surviving difficult college subjects, how to navigate the financial aid office, and short reviews of useful technology. I plan on sharing a lot of these posts with my advisees and students.
It’s nice to see students using blogs to do something substantive, constructive, and useful. Too much college student blogging is just Xanga-quality fluff.
