The Center for Safe and Responsible Internet Use has been following the Julie Amero case a lot more closely than I have, and they have two reports on their home page that give fresh updates and details about the case. You can get those reports here (PDF, 101 Kb) and here (PDF, 47 Kb). Unfortunately, the longer this case goes on, the more absurd it seems to get.
Nancy Willard (director of CSRIU) is on a listserv I read, and she posted a long message this morning with a lot of details about the trial. I’ve asked her permission to reprint that post here in its entirety, and I hope to hear from her today. Stay tuned.
